Welcome to The Weekly Edit — a space for strong, smart, self-directed women who are done with the noise, confusion, and wellness fluff.
I help you focus on what matters most for your health right now without the overwhelm.
Each edition brings clinical insight, strategic tools, and practical advice to help you feel strong, clear-headed, and in control of your second half of life. Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, tackling weight shifts, managing fatigue, or just trying to stay well in a distracted world, this is where we zoom in on one thing at a time—and do it well.
This isn’t a wellness newsletter. It’s a rethink of modern health for women in midlife.
I write for women who:
Are tired of trying everything.
Want straight-talking, evidence-based advice.
Value health as strategic infrastructure for the life they want to live.
Don’t want to become another cautionary tale about burnout, bone loss, or brain fog.
You’ll find ideas, not instructions. Insight, not inspo. And sharp clarity on what to focus on next.
If you’re trying to stay strong, steady, and self-led in a world that profits from your confusion, The Health Edit is for you.
About Me
I'm Susan Hunter, a health strategist with 20 years of clinical experience helping women solve health puzzles.
I'm a naturopath and nutritionist who's evolved beyond the limitations of those labels. I use the science—whether it's meditation or medication—and I connect dots across disciplines that other practitioners miss.
What makes my approach different:
Evidence over ideology, always
Strategic thinking over optimisation obsession
Clinical pattern recognition from thousands of complex cases
Intellectual honesty about what actually works
I've built my practice on helping women get results when other approaches haven't worked. I think systemically, not ideologically, and I'm willing to challenge conventional wisdom when the evidence demands it.
I believe in results over righteousness, strategic health choices over perfectionist protocols, and helping women be healthy enough to actually enjoy their lives.
The Health Edit is where I share the advanced clinical thinking behind my strategic health takes. This is for women who want the intellectual depth The case studies, research analysis, and decision frameworks that can't fit in a 20-minute podcast.
If you want accessible strategy, listen to The Health Edit podcast. If you want the clinical intelligence behind those strategies, you're in the right place.
